Remember…3 min read

To the tired and weary:
When your eyelids feel nearly as heavy as your bones,
When getting up in the morning requires lengthy pep talks from your self,
When hiding seems like the easier path to take, but somehow leaves you just as drained,
When you’re convinced you lack the strength needed to carry on,
When exhaustion has stolen your ability to even care,
Remember…
God invites the weary and burdened to find rest in Him.
He is your refuge and your fortress.
He covers you in safety so peacefully you can lie down and sleep.
He leads you beside quiet waters and makes a bed for you in green pastures.
He gives power to the weak, strength to the powerless.

To the hustler:
While you’re busy chasing your dreams,
While you’re fighting for causes greater than yourself,
While you’re focusing on the finish line, running towards the prize,
While you’re demolishing obstacles, clearing the way for yourself and others,
While you’re testing and redefining the limits,
Remember…
God knew you before you were born, designed you in His own likeness.
He has good plans for you, a future full of hope.
He makes all things work together for your good.
He calls you chosen, beautiful, acceptable, a complete work of art.
He conquered the grave and that same power lives inside of you too.

To the fearful:
Where doubt has pushed you into a corner,
Where anxious thoughts swarm you like a beehive,
Where worry creeps in like a thief in the night,
Where courage seems scarce,
Where faith is put to the test,
Remember…
God is with you, He never left you, He’s always present in your time of need.
He holds you up with His righteous right hand.
He’s not the author of your fear, He designed you with a spirit of power, love, and self-control.
He invites you to give Him all worries and cares, nothing is too big or small.
He will guard your mind with a peace you cannot even begin to comprehend.

To the hopeless:
In the middle of the dark, cold valley,
In the middle of a raging battle you’re positive you’ll lose,
In the middle of the pitch black night seemingly void of God’s presence,
In the middle of your dog-piled, never-ending responsibilities,
In the middle of all your mess,
Remember…
God leads you through the valley, comforts you with His rod and staff.
He is faithful, prepares a way for you to escape and endure.
He goes with you into battle, fights on your behalf, and secures your victory.
He is your strength, a very present help when you need it.
He makes your path straight.

When things are hard,
While you’re running fast,
Where the path might be foggy,
In the middle of this crazy life,
Remember…
To sing out and remind yourself of His faithfulness.
Of His goodness.
Of His love.
Of His grace.
Of His mercy.
Remember…
You are His and He’s got this.
